Create the "What Ifs" in your child's world.

Imaginary or Pretend Play - there's nothing quite like it. Take a peek inside of your child's thought processes. Get a glimpse into their hopes and dreams. Listen to their feelings as their stories unfold using toy puppet theaters. These creative playthings unveil the unconscious and allow for free expression. This pretend play can even be a teaching tool for conflict resolution in a non threatening way. Your child covet your undivided attention.

You can create wonderful memories "on purpose" for your children by investing in creative playthings, whether it's a table top puppet theater or a free standing puppet theater. Toy puppet theaters allow children to explore uncharted territory. The adventures than can be created are limitless, only limited by our imaginations.

Imagine is such a great word. It invites the "what ifs" into each of our worlds. Imagine that you are an....

Astronaut discovering a new planet. Is there life on this planet? Are there people? What language do they speak? Is it a language unknown to all of the rest of the world? What do they look like? Now, that can really spark the imagination, the "what ifs".

Race Car Driver - What if they travelled the world winning championships? Learn how they would handle success. Would they be humble? Would they be aggressive?

President of the United States - What would they want the United States to look like in their "what ifs"? Would they have compassion for those in need? Would they be conquerors?

Mother or Father of their family?

King or Queen?

Our children can communicate their inner world. Sometimes we just need to slow down in life and observe, really listen. Don't let these valuable opportunities slip through your grasp. Life is short. Make the most out of each day.

I remember making a "playhouse" of my Grandmother's corn crib when it was empty in the summers. I didn't have some of the great playsets that we have nowadays but it still was one of my favorite childhood memories. Children need to have a "space of their own" to explore, learn and create. They learn about themselves, they likes and dislikes. Providing these kind of opportunities with playroom furniture for kids to explore the different facets of life is a real gift to your child.
